Corà Wood is a forestry company that was created by the privatization of the Gabonese Forestry Company (CFG) in 1946. The company consists of forestry operations (three management units totaling 600,000 hectares), and a transformation complex which has various plywood lines, sawing lines and drying kilns. The concession areas are situated between the towns of Booué, Lastoursville and Okandja. The company specializes in the production of plywood, veneer, sawn lumber and semi-finished products.   • ‘A pioneer of forest certification in the Congo Basin, Wijma Cameroon SA was the first company in the region to become FSC TM certified in 2005. In December 2011, Wijma Cameroon SA was also the first company to obtain a certificate FSC TM Group Management (Group Wijma Cameroon) in the Congo Basin. Given its long experience in forest management, Wijma Cameroon SA has decided to share his experience in accompanying several other companies in this way.
