SFID has benefitted from a controlled felling course

During the training, the quality of the chain saw sharpening and the security of personnel was already improved. The conclusion of the training is that the majority of the fellers is already very experienced. With the proposed changes implemented they are capable of making very good fellings. Finally, TEREA has recommended to foresee a recycling training of the trained fellers in 12 months as well monitoring of the application of the controlled felling techniques on a daily basis.
